Lauds Whatcom Watch’s Coverage and Balance
I am writing to express my commendation for the excellent articles in the latest issue [October/November 2017] of Whatcom Watch, in particular the article about the Atlantic salmon in Washington State. Learning about the history of Atlantic salmon in Washington State was very valuable and ironic, of course, from trying to establish the species and now worried about the effects of the escaped farmed fish.
The other front page article also was excellent, explaining well the validity or lack thereof for different perspectives on climate change.
I also appreciate the inclusion of the regular articles on birds and gardening; reading those gives relief from focusing always on societal and political problems.
Keep up the good balance!
